The antenna shown below is an inexpensive dual band J-Pole antenna (DBJ-1) that has gain on 70cm. The original contruction article by WB6IQN appeared in the February 2003 issue of QST magazine.

A second version of the antenna (DBJ-2) was the subject of a March 2007 issue of QST. The first version was intended to be placed inside a PVC tube. The second version is intended to be rolled up for transport when not in use.
